Twins turn 3!

On June 1, the twins turned 3 years old! I must have blinked because it just doesn’t seem like it has been 3 years. I cannot imagine what I would do without them, I love them to pieces. They are about as night- and- day- different as two kids can be.  Just looking at them you can see that. P has blonde hair and blue eyes, W has brown hair and brown eyes. I love that they are so different.

P will probably be a baseball player, he loves baseball and has a swing that is pretty lethal for a 3 year old. W loves soccer so he is our soccer star. Hence the soccer and baseball cakes.

I still remember looking at that sonogram machine and saying to my doc, “wait, was that another one?” He promptly told me he was checking to make sure there were not three. Thanks doc, thank you very much.

I loved being pregnant with twins and cherish that special time in our life. We waited until we were 12 weeks along before telling anyone because we were praying everything would be ok. We had a blast telling our family too. We went and got family pictures made and then wrapped the main family pic up for Christmas as a gift to each set of grandparents. We typed up a letter and had it written as if the twins were writing it themselves, and it was precious! In the package with the framed picture, we wrote this:

Portrait Session: $15

Portrait Package: $100

Finding out there are actually 7 people in this portrait: Priceless!

We had SUCH fun and could hardly wait for the grandparents to open their gifts! I remember saying “Lord please don’t let it be two boys because we’ll have so much trouble coming up with names!” Well, God has plans of his own.

I love these little guys so much. I still can’t believe they are 3, but then I can’t believe their older sis is nearly 11. Where does the time go?
