…his name is BOB. It is a time-controlling device that plugs into computers and televisions to limit a person’s time on them. I had been thinking that something like that would be so great for the kids, so that they could earn time for tv, and also lose time if they misbehave. I hadn’t really thought about purchasing one, but we went to Mardel’s a couple weeks ago and lo and behold, they had such a device on their clearance table. We got it for a song! The original price was $99, but they had it marked down 90% off! We thought maybe that was wrong but Jeremy took it up to the cashier and she double-checked and it actually was just $9.99! You just can’t beat that!
So we have it plugged into the tv and each kid has a code and gets a set amount of time per day or you can do it by the week. It’s really a neat tool and I can’t believe we got it at such a good price!
It is working well, and when the time’s up, the time’s up and they’re done for the day! Unless we have a family movie night….!
